Job overview
We are excited to advertise this new role within the Radiology Department on a 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity.
As the Radiology Administration Coordinator (Resourcing & Development) you will lead on the administration of recruitment, courses and recruitment related events for the department, helping to ensure a consistently high quality service for potential candidates, new starters and existing team members.
The post holder will sit within the NUH Radiology Practice Development Team and will play a vital role in a growing department, acting as the primary point of contact for all candidates, recruited via a number of different routes.
Given that this is a new role, there will be a real opportunity to improve the resourcing, development and recruitment function within the department.
The role will predominantly be based at Queens Medical Centre (QMC). Travel will sometimes be necessary (expenses reimbursed) and occasional weekend work may be required to support recruitment and training provision. A flexible approach to this is preferred.
Main duties of the job

Assume responsibility for the administration of Radiology resourcing and development needs. This covers but is not limited to training, development, recruitment, courses, events and promotion (digital, face to face and multi-media) of the Radiology speciality
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders from within and outside of the Trust as the Radiology point of contact as agreed with line manager.
Act as the lead administrator for identified and agreed courses, clinical training schedules, work experience and recruitment
Leads on setting up robust audit systems, collates reports and audits own work as well as the work of other administrators to ensure quality standards are met
Inputting information accurately into a variety of databases/e-rota software relating to recruitment, practice development training and wider Radiology project activities, using the correct formats.
Takes responsibility for liaising with accommodation teams and optimises capacity for this.
Monitoring of supplies required for course delivery and work with the administration team to ensure photocopying course materials is completed.
Work with the Preceptorship team and clinical team to ensure correct pre and post course documentation and recruitment information is sent out in accordance with the required

Essential criteria
- • Have a QCF (NVQ) Level 3 in Business Administration/administration or equivalent experience. • IT related RSA/QCF (NVQ) 2 or equivalent experience.
Experience

- • Evidence of advanced use of Excel software. • Experience of producing data for inclusion in performance reports.
- • Evidence of IT skills e.g. Knowledge of computer and software use and inputting procedure acquired through previous experience and/or job training
