Team Administrator - Eating Disorder Service

This is an exciting opportunity to join the currently expanding Eating Disorder Service (Adults). The post holder will work within the busy and energetic multi-disciplinary comprising clinical and counselling psychologists, consultant psychiatrist, specialist mental health nursing, specialist dietitian, ANP, assistant psychologists and administrators.

The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced in administration, and demonstrate keen organisational and self-management skills in order to assist the team to offer a high quality service
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative assistant/secretarial service to support duties associated with the service they are working in. Good organisational ability, strong IT skills (including use of Microsoft packages) and flexibility are required.
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and creative in their approach and can work alongside multi-disciplinary team members to provide quality and effective administrative support.
You will demonstrate an enthusiasm for professional development and will be motivated to further your understanding and skills through various training opportunities.

Qualifications

- Have GCSE level of education or equivalent in Maths and English

- Business Administration NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
Experience

- A sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Previous administrative experience
- Understanding of patient confidentiality
- Experience or understanding of creating records and filing systems and database management using an electronic information system

- Experience of working within a mental health setting
- Experience with Electronic Patient Records
