An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Senior Support Worker to work within Specialist Children’s Services, working with the Community Paediatric team in North Northants. We work with children and young people, families, and carers alongside our colleagues in the community, acute, social and education settings.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The post holder will at times be lone working in other settings and we want to recruit a forward thinking, dynamic healthcare support worker into this fixed term / seconded position. The post holder will be part of a developing and progressing service working with colleagues who present with enthusiasm for innovative and high standards of practice and be able to work autonomously. As a healthcare support worker the post holder will be working alongside the nurses and community paediatricians who are responsible for managing children and young people’s health in the community, the role requires you work alongside children and young people and families/carers with varying needs, health needs, to support and to present health promotion sessions tailored to meet the needs of the individual, to carry out delegated appropriate tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, reviewing height and weight, supporting families to navigate through the health journey, work in collaboration with other agencies.
