Digital Clinical Safety Transformation Lead

Band 7

Job overview

Are you organised, enthusiastic, motivated and a good communicator looking for a new challenge in your career?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician who has a passion for digital transformation of services to join our digital clinical safety transformation team.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills in order to influence digital clinical practice and promote clinical safety in the design, implementation and use of healthcare technology.

The role will involve the application of clinical knowledge and skills, along with a variety of clinical engagement techniques, to work with staff across the Trust. This role will also bring opportunities to work with our health partners in Northamptonshire to support effective and responsive care pathways within the county.

Main duties of the job

You will provide day to day management and professional leadership for the Digital clinical safety transformation team, to include staff and service development and hold responsibility for operational delivery of service outcomes.

You will be someone with demonstrable communication and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude and a commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders, developing strong relationships to support the planning and delivery of programmes of work that improve safety, quality and efficiency in care delivery.

If you are a clinician looking for a new challenge and wanting to enhance patient care through the use of technology this role provides you with that opportunity. This post would suit someone who is looking to develop their leadership and management skills.

The post is full-time (37.5 hours) and permanent. We would consider applications for flexible working including job share and secondment.

Working for our organisation

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
