Job overview
This role is to provide administrative support for an Outpatient Physiotherapy Team which is located at Danetre Hospital, Daventry. This role will include being a Receptionist for our department as well as providing administrative support to the physiotherapists and the Team Lead.
Main duties of the job
To act as the first point of contact for service users, carers, and other stakeholders to our Physiotherapy Team, as well as offering clerical support to the physiotherapists and the Team Lead Physiotherapist.
The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, which will include duties such as:
- Data entry and support with data quality/caseload management using various systems.
- First point of contact for the department, responding to patient and staff queries.
- System 1 (electronic patient record system)- as a super user you will support with rota management/clinic cancellation/smartcard management.
- Ordering and Local Stock management via Agresso (online purchasing) and Supply chain.
- Working with other admin both within the local department and other Physiotherapy departments to ensure cohesive systems and processes across the service.
- Reception Cover.
- Booking of appointments and organisation of rotas on System One for individual staff members.
- Inputting of information into internal management systems i.e., for recording of annual leave, sickness, supervision, appraisals.
- Organising Team Meetings and other meetings and taking minutes for these meetings.
- Supporting monitoring of performance by gathering information and compliance data as required by the Team Lead through use of internal systems, i.e patient feedback or waiting lists.
This will be supported by regular supervision both with Peers countywide and locally within the team.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
