Staff Bank provides temporary admin & clerical staff for different roles throughout Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. Roles available are varied in terms of hours and base and can be short or long term with different lengths of working weeks.
NHFT Staff Bank is an essential part of the Trust that supplies temporary staffing of all kinds, clinical and non-clinical. As a member of the Staff Bank Team you will make an important difference to our patients’ care every day.

We are seeking individuals who have extensive customer service skills and who can deal with our service users and Trust managers to offer the best possible service. You will be required to carry out a full range of office and administration duties from filing, minute taking, report writing and routine paperwork to support staff with small work based projects and generally maintaining an efficient office environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.

The Trust has two Mental Health hospitals in Kettering (St Mary’s) and Northampton (Berrywood), three community hospitals in Corby. Wellingborough (Isebrook) and Daventry (Danetre) and a vast array of different services across these areas. Recent roles have included admin and clerical work in prisons, our new single point of access call centre and ward admin at our Berrywood Hospital in Northampton and support to our finance team in Kettering. The availability of work changes on a day to day basis with new opportunities opening up each week.
We have a wide variety of temporary posts that will be both challenging and rewarding, including good rates of pay, flexible hours, training, and access to full NHS benefits, the bank is offered as a zero hours contract with no guarantee or work. We also offer Wagestream (An optional service to allow staff to access a percentage of there earned wages before the monthly pay date)

You will need to be organised and efficient and have excellent skills in using Microsoft Office programs including outlook, Word and Excel. Candidates must be willing to learn new IT Systems as required and have good accurate typing skills.
