An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Planned and Surgical Care Administration Team. We are seeking an attentive and detail oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join our friendly team.
The post holder will play a crucial role in ensuring we attract and retain the best talent to support our healthcare services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate to work as part of the Directorate Admin team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals who have fantastic communication skills to work in this busy, challenging and rewarding environment. They must be computer literate, used to working under pressure and able to switch between tasks quickly and efficiently.
Detailed below are some of the tasks which the successful candidate will be expected to carry out.
- To provide a high quality, central admin service for the recruitment of clinical and non-clinical staff for the Planned and Surgical Care directorate to ensure that the team operates in an efficient and effective manner.
- To participate at the weekly Vacancy Control meeting.
- To follow up on all vacancies for the directorate to ensure that they are advertised in a timely manner
- To manage and respond to recruitment enquiries and escalate as needed
- To undertake a variety of administrative and support processes, accurately maintaining all associate systems and records.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria
- Maths & English GCSE level A to C similar qualifications
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working Knowledge of Internet Systems
- Excellent telephone manner
- Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Computer/keyboard skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of a range of software programmes
- Clerical /Office Experience Previous NHS Administrative experience
