We have an exciting Secondment opportunity for the right candidate to join a dedicated, friendly team, in a fast-paced environment within the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust, based in Norwich and King's Lynn.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Manager to join our CAMHS and Youth Business Support Teams.
We are looking for a solution focussed individual who is excited for a new challenge.
Competencies must include the ability to promote a shared narrative of the value of data in the NHS arena, a comprehensive understanding of Performance Measures and associated data extraction from a variety of Performance Reports, including Power BI.
Demonstrable skills must also include the ability to present complex data to, and engagement of, a varied audience.
The ability to organise and prioritise workload, for both self and colleagues is essential.
Experience working in collaboration to create and maintain robust reporting processes, facilitation planning and able to demonstrate the ability to lead or support on improvement initiatives is also a quality which is required.
Experience of cross County working, working with Partner Agencies and wider Trust & NHS Services will be advantageous.
Our successful applicant will be working alongside Business Support and Clinical colleagues within the CFYP N&W Care Group, supporting Young People and their families.
Main duties of the job
- Support the various initiatives in place across the Care Group to promote reduction of Waiting Times for Young People
- Implementation and monitoring of robust recording systems to support Initiatives.
- Liaison with Clinical and Business Support colleagues
- Deputise for Business Support Manager as and when required
- Attendance at Care Group meetings as required
- Share best practice and implement new and support review of current processes
- Work with Trust Contracts, Performance and Information Team to develop robust and efficient reporting and escalate process
- Line Management delegated Team members, including monthly supervision, promote adherence to Trust Policy and support compliance in all areas
- Promote a positive culture within the workplace; working within the remit of the Trust Values

- Degree or equivalent which includes data analysis/presentation, data manipulation, and equivalent knowledge of information systems and data analysis
Desirable criteria
- Experience or qualifications in health informatics post graduate

- Experience in an NHS Information / Business performance environment.
- Experience in manipulation of large and complex data sets in a business/working environment.
- Experience of communicating a range of complex or sensitive information.
- Understanding of data quality and performance indicators
Desirable criteria
- Experience of systems analysis.
- Experience in drafting procedures and protocols.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and relational databases with the ability to know which software tool is most appropriate to solve individual problems.
- Understanding of priorities, data flows, datasets, performance and business management.
Desirable criteria
- Good understanding of current NHS issues and understanding of reporting requirements.
- Good understanding and appropriate knowledge of how mental health services are delivered and likely to change in the future.
