Job overview

IOPS (Intensive Older People’s Service) provide additional, intensive support for a short period of time, to help service users in mental health crisis remain in their own home with as much autonomy and independence as possible. IOPS offer intensive support to service users with dementia of any age and service users over 75 years with functional mental health and physical health complexities.

IOPS are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to join our current Administration Team. This role will be  supporting the Clinical Team Manager with management support as well as covering clinical admin when needed. 

This role is offered on a permanent contract. The hours of work are 22.5 hours per week. Days to be agreed with successful candidate but must include a Monday.

Main duties of the job

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.

Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
