Job overview

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Head of Risk to join the newly established Corporate Delivery team. You will be a senior leader and hold strategic responsibility for the implementation of improvement strategies in the areas of risk management and assurance. The post holder will have corporate responsibility for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Trust Risk Management Strategy and policy framework and ensure these are in line with best practice. The post holder will lead in creating a risk aware culture and environment, in which risk management is embedded at all levels in the organisation, to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, patient-centred services

 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will develop key relationships with system partners and be the strategic lead for all the Trust’s risk management arrangements, to firmly establish the Trust’s position as a trusted partner in the area of risk management. The post holder will work collaboratively with external bodies as required to strengthen internal risk management capabilities and act as the Trust’s risk management lead to embedding more effective system level risk management.
