Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic qualified Family Therapist to work in the West Norfolk Youth Service, based at Thurlow House in Kings Lynn. This is an innovative service offering assessment and treatment of young people aged between 14 and 25 years with a variety of complex mental health needs. Therapeutic modalities offered within the service include CBT, ACT, MBT, family therapy and EMDR.

The post holder will have experience in a CAMHS or related setting. You will have excellent therapeutic skills, cultural competency and be able to be responsive and flexible in working with young people. The majority of family work is likely to be with 14–18-year-olds and their families, but there may be cases above this age range where systemic factors are a key maintaining factor.

We have good links with other Child and Family teams based within West Norfolk and there would be opportunities for cross working and linking with other family therapists as part of the role.
