Travel is part of the role and being a car driver is essential.

Within your role you will contribute to psychological assessments, formulations and interventions under the supervision of a Clinical psychologist. You will be required to work independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified Psychologist and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. You will receive weekly supervision from a qualified Clinical Psychologist.

Main duties of the job

We offer assessment and treatment to women with moderate to severe mental health difficulties who are either pregnant or postnatal. You will be joining a growing psychology team, consisting of clinical psychologists, psychological therapist, family therapist, parent infant psychotherapists and another assistant psychologist.

You will be joining us at a very exciting time as you will provide support on the NHS long-term plan ambitions to expand the availability of psychological therapies in perinatal teams.

We are committed to keeping the family at the centre of care and normalising the experience of pregnancy and becoming a parent. We have a philosophy of early intervention and ensure that we capture the babies voice in the work that we do. Our aim is to reduce barriers to accessing services and aim to empower and build confidence in our service users.

Research and QI opportunities are available and encouraged.  We have a close relationship with the doctoral training course at the University of East Anglia and our future aim is to offer several placements within our expanding team.

Working for our organisation
