You will be part of our team responsible for the design and delivery, assessment, monitoring and evaluation of educational courses and providing clinical development to Ambulance Service Staff within the Trust.
Main duties of the job
To deliver high quality and professional teaching and learning to, and assessment of staff and students according to the needs of the Trust. To work in a team of lecturer practitioners to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of educational courses across a variety of teaching and learning environments.
To support the Education Managers and their team to ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned, and managed effectively, and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Level 6 qualification in Paramedic Science or relevant profession (or level 5 equivalent and willing to achieve within 2 years).
- L4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET, previously CTLLS) – Level 4 (or AET Level 3 and willing to achieve within 12 months of appointment.
- CAVA or assessing qualification (or demonstrable experience and willing to achieve within 6 months of appointment).
Desirable criteria
- Level 5/6 Mentoring Qualification.
Professional Registration
Essential criteria
- Effective HCPC Registration.
- A minimum of 2 years’ post registration experience in a frontline operational environment.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of Delivery of Education and Training in a healthcare environment.
- Experience of Assessment in clinical practice and on education/training programmes.
Driving
Essential criteria
- Holder of full, current UK driving licence with Category C1 and no more than 3 points. Have own transport and be willing to use this as required during the provision of the duties of the post.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
