Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Business Partner Accountant covering the Gwent wide Regional Partnership Board Budgets.

The Gwent wide Regional Partnership Budgets cover the Regional Integration Fund (Revenue and Capital) along with some ring-fenced funding including Dementia, Autism, Neuro-divergence and Further Faster funding. The Partnership budget currently totals approximately £30.6m in Revenue and £25.9m in Capital.

 

Main duties of the job

The Finance team supporting the Regional Partnership Board are responsible for providing high quality financial advice and support to all members of the Regional Partnership Board and the various Groups and Strategic Partnerships that support the Regional Partnership Board. 

The post holder will be required to work closely with members of the Programme Management Office and the Regional Team in order to understand and support the Partnership in delivering on their financial and performance obligations.

The post holder will be a fully qualified (CCAB body or CIMA) accountant with excellent communication skills and significant analytical abilities.

The post holder will be required to work across multiple Health Board sites.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
