Job overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Bladder and Bowel Nurse Service with the delivery of fundamental timely care.  You must have excellent communication and organisational skills and good attention to detail.  They will also need to have the ability to work under pressure, use own initiative for certain tasks and also work as part of a team.  An excellent telephone manner is vital as the post holder will have direct contact with patients, other health professionals and third party suppliers in line with operational processes and practices.  The post holder must embrace change and be committed to best practice.

Knowledge of Myrddin, Clinical Workstation is desirable but training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This role is very busy, varied and challenging but also very rewarding and will be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.   

Main duties of the job

Support the Bladder and Bowel Nursing Service. following operational practices and processes.

To deal with enquiries, advice and guidance available from line manager as needed.

Provide excellent customer service skills by supporting service users via the telephone in line with operational practices and processes.

Liaise with third party suppliers as and when required in line with operational practices and processes

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
