Specialist Physiotherapist - Neuro Outpatients

Job overview
Neuro-outpatients static physiotherapist working across CTM sites. Home visits may also be undertaken if clinically indicated.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 (Static) physiotherapist to join the Neuro-outpatients physiotherapy service of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
To work within the rehabilitation specialty in Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB across clinic sites and undertaking home visits if clinically indicated.
The post holder will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment and identification of problems of patients, including those with complex presentation, producing a highly specialised treatment plan based on a sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of physical treatment skills.
The physiotherapy department will be looking for an HCPC registered physiotherapist who can demonstrate previous experience of multi-disciplinary team working within core rotations at band 5 level and have a good working knowledge of NHS systems and procedures.
The post holder will require the ability to perform and cope with all aspects of manual handling and carry out the full range of duties required of the post, including on call respiratory rota.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
