Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the People Compliance and Assurance Team, within the People Directorate, as a Band 4 Job Evaluation Facilitator.
You will be responsible for providing a high quality Agenda for Change, Job Evaluation administrative service across the Health Board, and be the first point of contract for all job evaluation queries, and submission of requests.
This post provides a fantastic opportunity to take on a very important role within a small team which has a big impact on the day to day operations of the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
To be successful in this role you must have the following demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience, gained ideally working in a busy administrative role, within a Human Resources Department:
- Ability to use initiative, prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines;
- Ability to work within a team and to work collaboratively with stakeholders in the job evaluation process;
- Ability to develop, build and maintain constructive and effective partnership working relationships with managers and trade union colleagues;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Knowledge of and confidence in using a wide range of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience of using online software systems and databases.
Experience of the NHS Agenda for Change Job Evaluation process and CAJE system would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

- Level 3 CIPD or relevant experience working in a HR environment.

- Diploma level qualification in a professionally related subject or equivalent level of experience gained working in a HR role
