An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Health Care Support Worker to work with the surgical team on Ward 21 at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Within this job role there is a potential to work across the templates of Bridgend Clinic and Ward 21.
The successful candidate will work under direct supervision of a registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of surgical patients care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of patient care including undertaking patient’s vital signs.
The individual will be required to have good communication skills to be able to relate to patients, members of patients families and the multidisciplinary team that work within the clinical area.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
