We provide healthcare services to people living in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf county borough areas, serving a population of around 450,000. We are ideally situated between Wales’s capital city, Porthcawl to the west, and the stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons.

AMU are privileged to have expanded our existing team of hard-working nurses and health care support workers, across both the Acute Medical and Acute Care of the Elderly Units. There are both permanent and 1 x 37.5 fixed term for 1 year vacancy available.
Main duties of the job
We have extended our bed base and have also extended the service we offer our patients. We have had significant investment in to Care of the Elderly, with a dedicated team of Consultants and Advanced Clinical Practitioners who work with us as we provide excellent care for our patients. In addition to this service we pride ourselves on providing a "Same Day Emergency Care" service, this prevents hospital admissions and has speedy access to investigations.
