JOB DETAILS: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Decontamination Support Worker in the Endoscopy Unit.
The Endoscopy Unit is a very busy department and the successful candidate will work within the decontamination unit processing endoscopes and ensuring all equipment is ready for the daily lists.
Main duties of the job
To work in the decontamination area to decontaminate endoscopy equipment following Standard Operating Procedures
Take responsibility for the care, maintenance and record keeping of endoscopes and all decontamination equipment.
Be responsible for reporting any breaches in the decontamination process to the senior nurse
