Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (cleaning) . The post is suited to a motivated and experienced person. This post includes both wards and communal cleaning for which a high standards of cleanliness are expected.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning). You must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude and a willingness to work in all areas including all wards should the service require. You need to provide a high standard of cleanliness at all times. You must also possess the ability to work within a team or on your own as necessary with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices.
Shift Pattern: Monday 8.00 -16.00 Friday 13.00 - 19.00 Saturday 11.00 - 19.00 21 hours per week. Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial. - CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, or equivalent.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
