Staff Nurse - Gynaecology Outpatients Department fixed term

NHS AfC: Band 5

Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are looking to recruit a Band 5 Registered Nurses at 37.5 hours for our Gynaecology outpatients department.

We are looking for a passionate, motivated nurse who has an interest in women’s health.  This exciting opportunity is available to newly qualified or experienced nurse who is looking for a new challenge. Are you a caring and self-motivated nurse who is a strong team player but also has an enthusiasm for working autonomously with excellent communication skills?

The service is currently Monday to Friday, though you will need to be flexible as clinics may change due to demand. You will also be asked to travel to support some of our community clinics.

There will be opportunities for learning and development especially in nurse led clinics. You will be responsible for working with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth running of the clinic, ensuring patients are kept informed of waiting times, prioritising tasks as appropriate, keeping well-coordinated stock levels or equipment and patient information leaflets.

The ability to deal with challenging situations as well as having empathy and understanding for patients is very important. You must be dedicated to providing the best care, uphold the Trust values, have a proven track record of good performance and be able to demonstrate this at interview.

Experience within women’s health would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Also newly qualified welcome to apply.
