We currently have a full-time receptionist vacancy at Windsor House Inpatient Unit.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mental Health Care Division Administration Team working within Windsor House Inpatient Unit.
The unit provides acute inpatient support for adults with enduring mental health issues. The service offers flexible, responsive and proactive integrated services to individuals with severe and complex mental and behavioural disorders.
The post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive Receptionist and Administrative service to an excellent standard, ensuring a high level of customer care to the reception areas across Mental Health Care Services Division.
Main duties of the job
An excellent telephone manner is essential. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the teams working with the minimum of supervision to co-ordinate their activities to ensure that an efficient service is provided.
The post holder will be expected to work with a flexible approach, maintaining confidentiality at all times when dealing with service user/staff information. The post holder should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, strong organisational and time management skills and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
An RSA1 or equivalent or equivalent work based experience is essential as is experience of working in a health care setting.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities:
The purpose of this post is to provide a comprehensive receptionist and administrative service to an excellent standard, ensuring a high level of customer care service to the reception areas across the Local Services Division.
The post holder is expected to work closely with the teams working with the minimum of supervision to co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure that an efficient service is provided.
The post holder will be expected to work with a flexible approach, maintaining confidentiality at all times when dealing with service user/staff information.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, strong organisational and time management skills and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
He/she will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation, thus enabling the clinical team to utilise their time in an efficient and effective manner.
It is essential that the post holder exercise initiative commensurate with the role and vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

- Level of IT skills and experience

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
