Dialysis Administrator

Job overview

We are looking for a renal dialysis administrator to work with the Nephrology team.   As a dialysis administration officer you will have an interesting, busy and varied job.  You will provide comprehensive support to patients wanting to organise holiday travel in both this country and abroad.

We require someone who has good organisation and communication skills, is able to work as part of a team and experience of working with data and information systems.

This is both an exciting and also a challenging development opportunity which will involve working with a number of key stakeholders in a variety of disciplines.

Main duties of the job

To organise with outside companies to have fluid delivered to holiday destinations both abroad and in the UK.  To inform companies of any special delivery instructions. 

To ensure all patients, when travelling abroad, are in receipt of customs letters.

To check patients holiday orders are accurate.

Ensure all patients are sent letter of confirmation that their holiday has been dealt with and informing them they can expect a letter from companies as to when their holiday supplies will be delivered to their holiday destination.  

Arrange haemodialysis sessions for patients on holiday.

To assist the Office Manager in nephrology to manage all activities within the service. This includes the day to day supervision of any teams to ensure a comprehensive and efficient service for patients.
