You will be joining a proactive skill mixed team working together to deliver the Healthy Child Programme . As part of the 0-19+ Service which with other local statutory, health and voluntary agencies to provide includes Health Visiting and School nursing you will be working closely accessible, person centred packages of care in response to individual and local need. You will be working in partnership with Cheshire East Local Authority to take the local children’s agenda forward.
There is a fantastic opportunity to develop in the role and to acquire the knowledge and skills to apply for the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse-School Nurse/Health Visitor degree (PGDip).

Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified nurses however some previous experience of working within a community environment or with school nursing would be beneficial. We have an established preceptorship programme in place and you will be well supported by your manager and colleagues and valued in your role. We offer opportunities for personal and professional development and you will receive regular appraisal, clinical and safeguarding supervision. There will also be opportunities to gain the skills to access the SCPHN School Nurse training whilst working at the Trust.
