Job overview
The Training Lead will report to the Training Manager and is responsible for delivering the training strategy for Hive and connected applications. They will lead a team of trainers, managing resources, resolving issues, and coordinating the delivery of training materials within their areas of responsibility. They will lead for the programme on various cross workstream initiatives. The Training Lead will also represent and advocate for the Hive Programme and Training Workstream, working with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure the ongoing training needs are met.
Main duties of the job
Deliver the Organisations Digital Training Strategy and advise key stakeholders on methods for training delivery to enable successful and efficient training outcomes.
Overall responsibility for delivery within own Digital Training team, including resource allocation, capacity management, issue resolution within defined remit, and stakeholder management.
Ensure Team compliance to Hive and Connected Applications programme processes to support the effective delivery programme objectives.
Conduct training needs assessments on Digital Projects/Work Packages to ensure that the programme of work can be delivered efficiently and successfully within the available resource.
To ensure Digital Training delivery is accredited and/or linked to national standards wherever possible.
Monitor performance measures, targets, and standards. Ensure that the Digital Training Team carries out regular reviews of quality and performance to improve metrics.
Lead on various cross workstream and clinical application projects or initiatives as required.
Support the Hive and Connected Applications Senior team by communicating areas of success, concern, issues, and incident within the training team.
Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs.
Contribute to overall training delivery requirements where capacity allows (facilitation of face-to-face sessions, creation of training materials etc.).

Person specification
Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Background in training or team/change management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in the NHS
- High level of digital literacy
- Experience of EPR Training/Implementation
Applicant requirements
