Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Human Resources team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The role will sit within the Employee Services team to support the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to members of the HR teams and Trust employees.
The role will provide opportunities to gain practical experience and skills whilst working as a member of a team and achieving nationally recognised qualifications as part of the Apprenticeship framework in Business Administration level 3. The apprenticeship Scheme is run in conjunction with a training provider to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme for a 15 month placement. You will be employed on a fixed term contract and are expected to complete the apprenticeship qualification within this time period.
Main duties of the job
You must have a good standard of education and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner. Previous experience of working in a busy administration role in a customer focused environment would be an advantage. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and strong attention to detail are essential to this role.
There is an eligibility criteria for the government funded apprenticeship schemes that apply and therefore applicants must be aged 16 and above, have been resident in the UK/UE for the last 3 years, must not possess a Degree, Level 4 qualification or above or already be in any form of formal government funded education.
