Are you an experienced Band 6 Rotational Occupational Therapist, with good experience working in the field of Neuro / Stroke and looking for your next challenge? Or already working at a static Band 6 level in the speciality of Stroke / Neuro and want to come and work at Salford CSNRT? We are a strong MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Dietitian, Nurses, Psychologists, Therapy Instructors/ Senior Assistants, Social Work, Assistant Practitioners and expert Administrative support.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative individual to join our specialist service . You will have a broad and varied background of OT areas, including neurology experience, ideally in Acute and Community, and Stroke and Neuro.

We are looking for:

• Experience mainly in Stroke and Neurorehab in community setting but ideally with some Acute exposure
• Good level of post graduate training in area of speciality
• Minimum of supervision of Band 5 staff and students
• Provide rich student placements as Clinical Educator
• Contribute to team development in own profession and wider MDT.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Highly effective communication skills
• Successful team player
• Ability to demonstrate drive and initiative
