Salford Royal is an organisation that aims to be the safest in the NHS through providing safe, clean, and personal care to every patient, every time.

Main duties of the job

The Interventional department at Salford is an exciting, expanding place to work, with excellent opportunities to increase skills.

To help support the lead and clinical specialist radiographers , you would be expected to assist in taking a leading role and assist in daily running of the service. The role would provide some management experience and help to expand skills.

The department provides a 24/7 acute service for IAT. You would be expected to partake in the service, including partaking on our on call system. All radiographers are expected to support 24/7 working 365 days per year. This pioneering service will give an opportunity, to help make a difference.

Salford Royal will soon open a new trauma unit, which includes a hybrid theatre. As a Radiographer this offers an opportunity to perform the latest imaging techniques, within a new trauma hybrid theatre.

The department is progressive and opportunities for CPD are available. Advanced practice is new to the department and there could be opportunities to learn skills that could help you apply for positions in the future.
