Are you an experienced band 5 or existing band 6 physiotherapist with a passion for delivering high quality patient care and would like to be a part of a dynamic MSK team? If so, there is an opening for you to join our team of Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with broad based postgraduate experience including recently in the MSK speciality. You should be able to work well as part of a team but have the ability work independently and supervise others.

As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will benefit from wide ranging learning opportunities to help consolidate your skills and advance your Musculoskeletal career. In addition to regular supervision and support from our experienced senior MSK Physiotherapists, you will have access to Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners working in our service.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • Undertake high quality assessments, for patients referred from Primary Care, Consultants, A&E and self-referrals 
  • Develop, implement and modify individualised treatment programmes
  • Support self-management and promote lifestyle changes including onward referral to support services
  • Be responsible for your own clinical caseload including patients with complex needs. Training will be provided in any areas identified for development.
  • Support Team Leaders to ensure that junior staff are clear about their responsibilities and accountability. Be responsible for the training and supervision of junior staff and students.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment plans to ensure maximum patient benefit and health outcomes.

knowledge, training and experience

  • Significant post graduate NHS experience including experience at Band 5 level, or above, within MSK speciality
  • Basic understanding of computers and their applications
  • Experience of working within a team and independently
  • Experience of liaison with other professionals and partnership working
  • Previous experience across a broad range of Band 5 rotations
  • Specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology to underpin relevant clinical skills
  • Knowledge of areas of clinical governance including quality, audit and risk management
