An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 leaders within the Intensive Care Unit at The Royal Oldham Hospital, one of four hospitals within the Northern Care Alliance.
We are looking for dedicated, committed, and experienced nurses who have completed the critical care course and possess a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK.
The ICU team continually go above and beyond to ensure the unit delivers outstanding care to our patients. We're looking for band 6 nurses who share the same values / goals and are looking for an exciting challenge. If you have a passion for intensive care, as well as the drive, commitment, and enthusiasm to successfully implement change then we'd love to hear from you.

As both a clinical and non-clinical leader, you will work as part of a well-established nursing, medical and managerial team where excellent quality patient care is at the heart of all that we do.
A calm and diplomatic approach to care is essential as well as being able to adapt within a challenging environment in order to deal with the varied and changing demands of the unit.
You will be provided with excellent personal and professional support and be given the opportunity to further develop your leadership and management skills.

*This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months.
**Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
***The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.

- Post-basic qualification to minimum degree level or equivalent experience
- Post basic qualification in Critical Care
- Evidence of mentorship / teaching qualification
- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development

- Demonstrate initiative to proactively problem solve with a solution focus
