Job overview

Wythenshawe Hospital Paediatric Emergency Department is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our nursing team to work in a brand new state of the art, modern building.

You will be well supported with career progression and learning opportunities in both paediatric emergency medicine.

  • Degree or Diploma
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching Qualification
  • Degree level 6 study Diploma

Training and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working on own and as part of a team
  • Ability to supervise and support junior staff.
  • Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability.
  • Awareness of clinical Audit
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence undertaking a mentor/preceptor role
  • Experience in relevant area of practice

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of current nursing issues
  • Knowledge of clinical governance
