Research Project Midwife

Job overview

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Band 6 midwife to work 0.4 WTE on an exciting research project funded by the Race and Health Observatory. The work is focused on examining the benefits and implications of transcutaneous bilirubin (TCB) monitoring for neonates in the community to diagnose jaundice and reduce ethnic health inequalities. The post holder will work closely with the project team including the consultant midwife at Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester. The role will be to primarily support designing, distributing and anlysing a national survey of community midwifery practice on detecting jaundice in the community.  For further information please contact Dr Kylie Watson [email protected]
