Main duties of the job

The Senior Rehabilitation Assistant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have the knowledge and skills to work across therapies at a high level of competence, within agreed protocols, under the supervision of a qualified professional. They will also have responsibility for providing support and guidance to more junior assistants.

The rehabilitation assistant will take responsibility for their own workload within a broad framework laid out by a qualified therapist. The post holder will be responsible for delivering defined Therapy input without direct supervision, but will have immediate access to a qualified therapist for advice and direction as needed.
