Then we hope you will consider a role within our integrated stroke team at Bury care organisation.

An opportunity has arisen for a static band 6 Occupational Therapist working within stroke services at Fairfield General Hospital.   The Stroke Service is a high performing, nationally recognised centre of excellence.    As Fairfield is a primary stroke unit,  you will have the opportunity to work across hyper-acute, acute and stroke rehab wards. You will have the opportunity to work  alongside experienced band 7 occupational therapists as well as other specialist clinicians within the stroke multidisciplinary team.  We would welcome you to join our dynamic and supportive team.

We are looking for an experienced therapist at a Band 5 level or existing Band 6 who are well organised, seeking an opportunity to develop their skills within stroke at a Band 6 level.  You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and an appropriately experienced practitioner.  You will need to be a registered Occupational Therapist who can demonstrate your commitment, enthusiasm and drive to develop your own clinical and team working skills within the service.

You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, work autonomously and be able to demonstrate effective teamwork. You will provide high quality care in an appropriate and timely manner which is responsive to patients needs whilst adhering to recognised policies and guidelines.

The service operates over seven days and as such some weekend working is required as part of the role.
