Job overview

An  opportunity is available at Bolton CAMHS for a  BAND 6 Senior CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join our friendly and hardworking  team. This position has become available due to promotions  within the organization. The role involves working in our CORE pathway in CAMHS. Assessments, formulation, and treatment are provided to support the needs of CYPs  in collaboration with the full MDT at CAMHS.

Our service is dedicated to continuous improvement, and we have recently implemented changes that have positively impacted the care we provide to CYPs.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within Bolton CAMHS. The post holder will be expected to be proactively engaging our young people and their families in order to promote positive relationships. 

As a Senior CAMHS  Mental Health Practitioner, the post holder will provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery working within the team alongside our talented therapists, caring case managers and  super support workers.

The post holder will be expected to provide Assessment, Formulation, Interventions, Advice,  and Risk Management.

The post holder will be able to discuss all cases in daily huddles and Clinical supervision.

CYPS will either be discharged of be offered further intervention within the wider CAMHS team if needed.

The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users’ and their carers.
