GAPS provides a safe and realistic learning environment for teams, supporting clinicians to practice their roles in a variety of lifelike scenarios using technology alongside educational tools to enhance their practice, knowledge, and confidence to promote individual and team safety.

The post holder will be responsible for the operationally managing the GAPS Simulation & Skills Centre (alongside the other simulation specialist) , educational facilitation of a number of core courses and generally supporting the provision of educational courses within.

A key part of the role will be the design, delivery and evaluation of both internal and external Simulation and Skills based courses. The post holder will be responsible for co-leading the development of innovative teaching strategies to forward our position within the technology enhanced learning community and to better support training within and outside of the Trust.

All of the above is in collaboration with the GAPS Team and Clinical Directors and accountable to the Associate Director for Education & GAPS - Simulation & Skills.
