Working for our organisation

St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the UK’s largest healthcare organisations and is  integrated with Wandsworth Community Services. The Trust shares its main hospital site in South West London with St George’s University of London, and is linked to Kingston University Faculty of Health Social Care & Education.

St George’s has an established national and international reputation as a leading hospital for specialist care including neurosciences, cardiac care, stroke and cancer. We provide excellent local care to the residents of Wandsworth, and regional specialist centre care for a number of specialities including, hyper acute stroke and major trauma.

We are a Major Trauma centre and have one of only two helipads in London, with direct access to the Trust’s state of the art Emergency Department. The helipad increases the number of direct HEMs admissions and secondary transfers requiring intensive care services.
