Job overview

The North East London Integrated Care Board (NELICB) is looking for Senior System Co-ordination Centre (SCC) Delivery Officers to join our SCC team.

Primarily, the SCC supports the wider health and care system through proactive co-ordination of an integrated system response and resilience to operational pressures and risks by utilising available information and intelligence alongside political navigation and influencing.

Main duties of the job

The Senior SCC Delivery Officer will work alongside UEC providers and other organisations across the NELICB and North East London Integrated Care System (NELICS) and London region to proactively identify and evaluate operational pressures, respond to escalation, and invoke strategies, processes and provide assurance on risk reduction and de-escalation, to key stakeholders, including ICB directors, ambulance services, NHSE and others.

Education & Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Relevant degree or extensive knowledge, skills and experience to equivalent level
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and managerial development including management of change

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Can demonstrate a successful track record of participating in complex programmes within a large health/social care organisation
  • Experience in participation in performance monitoring, and proposing and implementing corrective actions
  • Experience in developing effective working relationships with proven ability to manage conflict resolution between parties
  • Experience of managing assurance processes
Desirable criteria
  • Understanding of the current issues impacting on the NHS and the impact on local services.
  • Experience of working in Pressure surge management/Systems Resilience

  • Ability to build relationships; engage, lead and develop others, and maintain credibility
  • Ability to work autonomously at a senior level
