We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

West London CAMHS Eating Disorder Service (EDS) are looking for a Speciality Doctor (1.0 WTE) each to join our friendly, supportive, and experienced multi-disciplinary specialist mental health teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative Specialty Doctor who can help taking a leading clinical role with our teams. The role offers the opportunity to combine clinical work and service development within our specialist teams. We are looking for a candidate who is able to maintain clinical curiosity and engage in reflective practice, as well as be able to be an advocate for children, young people and families’ needs. We hope the successful candidate would support and implement our trust values and commitments to staff wellbeing and manageable job plans.

Education and Qualifications

- • Primary Medical Degree
- • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice at the time of appointment
- • Good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
- • Eligibility for Approved Clinician status with Section 12 approval

- • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Registrar or within 6 months of gaining CCT
- • MRCPsych.
- • Higher degree such as a Masters or PhD
Eligibility

- • At least 4 years full time post graduate training (or equivalent gained on part time flexible basis)
- • At least 2 years in a speciality training programme in psychiatry or as a fixed term speciality trainee in Psychiatry
Knowledge, Clinical expertise in speciality

- • Good knowledge of Psychiatry
- • Knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology as applicable to CAMHS

- • Training and experience in CAMHS and Eating disorders
- • Experience in a variety of therapies
- • Able to meet duties under MHA and MCA
- • Training in medical/clinical education and supervision
