Elevate your career by joining our Renal Satellite Haemodialysis Unit at Ealing Hospital, Uxbridge Road, Southall, Middlesex.
While significant post-registration experience in a renal or acute setting is preferred, we welcome applications from candidates without prior experience. Informal visits are highly recommended. Our department offers abundant opportunities, including specialised training and ongoing self-development programs such as secondments and CPD in renal nursing.
We have a Band 5 full-time position available. The successful applicant will join our established nurse-led team. As a renal nurse, you will play an integral role in maintaining and developing a center of clinical excellence, working in an environment that meets the needs of both clients and team members.
Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all haemodialysis patients
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision

Experience

- Significant experience in a medical ward or acute care setting.

- Experience in haemodialysis
Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities
Essential criteria
- Willingness to develop teaching skills
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct
- Knowledge of care planning, preceptorship, reflection and clinical supervision
Desirable criteria
- Have an interest in professional development
