The CHIS Team is looking to recruit to the post of Administrator Band 3
The role is for someone who can work flexibly Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm to ensure the department is covered.
You should have developed excellent administrative skills, and computer skills and able to work competently within Care Plus software (after training, if required). You also need to work within Microsoft 365. We need someone with good communication skills to answer phones on a rota basis as well as working with CarePlus which is the software we use.
We ask that you can prioritise your workload, be a team player and able to use your own initiative and meet deadlines.

You will possess excellent administrative and telephone skills and be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues. You will be an excellent communicator and can prioritise your workload. You will support the processing and management of all workflow within the service using Care Plus software, Microsoft 365 Packages including word, excel, outlook, teams, in a timely and efficient way ensuring that work is completed to a high standard. You will be required to work on the phone rota, answering queries and directing as required.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex which is also where the CHIS office is currently located.
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,108 to a maximum of £5,177). Pro rata for Part-time staff.
