We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Direct Marketing Officer (Individual Giving and Legacies) to join the Fundraising team at North London Hospice. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new Legacy supporters, one-off cash givers and regular givers. Within this role, you will:
- Plan, develop, and deliver effective multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract and retain new legacy prospects, one-off cash donors and regular givers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create engaging and inspiring campaign messaging and propositions and to write clear and concise briefs for your marketing campaigns to optimise and evaluate them, with a focus on monitoring performance and coordinating evaluations, whilst ensuring they are delivered within budget.
- Adopt a ‘retention first’ approach in all marketing activities, focusing on building long-term relationships with donors to enhance loyalty and lifetime value.
- Ensure all fundraising activity complies with relevant regulations and best practices, including GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator.
- Build strong internal relationships across the hospice.
- Use internal database (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately record and maintain information, manage campaigns and supporter relationships.
You will be experienced in marketing and communications, able to demonstrate your experience of planning, developing, and delivering multi-channel campaigns. You’ll need to have excellent communication, organisational and timekeeping skills, be a team player and show passion for the cause, working to maximise our income to increase the impact we have on the lives of people in our care.
