Working for our organisation

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and caring people to work as health care support workers within our adult and older adult wards. There are seven mental health wards within the Tower Hamlets directorate based at Mile End Hospital and one at East Ham Care Centre.

We are looking for caring and compassionate people, both experienced and inexperienced, to join our dedicated teams at Tower Hamlets Mental Health Unit and East Ham Care Centre.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and have a keen interest in working with patients being nursed in a mental health setting. You will be working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, caring for patients with a wide range of needs.

Our care and treatment programmes are underpinned by principles of recovery and social inclusion and much of our work is co-produced with patients.
