The Centre for Health Technology Evaluation is looking to appoint a programme manager for planning and operations within technology appraisals and highly specialised technologies

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate excellent leadership and experience of complex programmes of work involving multi-disciplinary teams. You should have strong programme and project management skills, and a high drive and determination to complete tasks where work is unpredictable and deadlines are tight.  


You will be responsible for the operational planning and delivery of several functions within the Planning and Operations team, including scheduling and committee operations.

The Centre for Health Technology Evaluation (CHTE) develops guidance on the use of new and existing medicines, treatments and procedures within the NHS.

The Programme Manager is responsible for the operational planning and delivery of several functions within the Planning and Operations team of Technology Appraisals. 

The Technology Appraisals programme at NICE advises the NHS and patients on the clinical and cost effectiveness of the technologies reviewed and their optimal position in clinical practice.

The post holder will also provide programme management to the Centre Coordination Team within CHTE.
