This role will be responsible in liaising with other NHS Trusts to collect our debt report. Hold meeting and to keep debt levels to the minimum. Also expected to perform quarterly Agreement of Balances to meet DHSC requirements
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Head of Transaction and Processing, the Accounts Receivable Team Leader will have a range of financial accounting responsibilities, including Invoice Billing, Billing Files, Cash Allocation, Debt Managements and Managing the Overall AR Team and the Roles and Responsibilities of the team.

Academic/Professional qualification/Training

- 5 GCSEs grade “C” or above or equivalent including Maths and English.

- ICM or equivalent experience
Experience/Knowledge

- Taken part in the NHS AOB exercises
- Worked with complex databases
Desirable criteria
- Experience in an NHS, clinical or medical setting.
Skills/Abilities
Essential criteria
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excel to Intermediate level
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of accounting processes
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
