We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated administrator to join our busy Rheumatology admin team. You will support the departments biologics service including the Virtual Biologics MDT.
The role will be part time, 3 days per week, 22.5hrs per day. Monday is a mandatory day, other working days can be agreed on appointment.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this post is to actively manage the administrative processes of patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment by the Trust. Also, to ensure and participate in providing an effective administration service to the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE A level or equivalent standard of Education
- AMSPAR or equivalent e.g. good level of medical terminology
- ECDL or equivalent e.g. experience of a range of IT packages such as word, excel, outlook and powerpoint
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 3 years Medical secretarial/pathway administration experience
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy
Desirable criteria
- Supervisory or Office Management skills equivalent to certificate level
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
