Planned Care Division

TRUST DOCTOR (ST1-2 equivalent) IN OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY

We are looking for a Trust Doctor (ST1-2 equivalent) with competencies equivalent to ST1 level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to join our dynamic team of Specialty Trainees. The post holder will be one of the trust doctors in the department and work on the F2-ST2 rota with daytime and resident on-call commitments. This post is ideal for those undertaking an F3 year who wish to develop their experience of O&G.

Main duties of the job

GMC Registration is an essential requirement for this post.

  • Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition
  • Involve patients (and/or carers if appropriate) in decision making about their treatment
  • Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out from time to time by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply in particular with the GMC’s guidance on ‘Good Medical Practice’ as amended or substituted from time to time.

  • Full Registration with GMC with licence to practice
