DEPUTY BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER -  0-19 ADMIN TEAM

We are looking for a dynamic motivated team player join our friendly team.

A person who is able to multi-task and prioritise their workload to meet deadlines set. 

Knowledge/Experience of Electric Patient Records (RIO) and Data Reporting systems is highly desirable. 

  • To provide high quality business support for the 0-19 Universal Service.
  • To deputise for the Business Support Manager when required.
  • To support the production of statistical reports using a range of IT applications and communicate with service leads about the necessary actions to maintain or improve performance.

 

Main duties of the job

  • To deputise for the Business Support Manager when required.
  • To lead on the creation and updating of administrative pathways reflecting the use of RIO, together with 0-19 operational manuals.
  • To deputise as the key point of contact in relation to performance data and data requests for Islington universal services.
  • To deal with back office enquiries effectively, and take the initiative for disseminating information, taking action where necessary and escalating enquiries only when required.
  • To undertake analysis of trends within performance data to ensure that the factors which influence good performance are understood by all service staff and can be used to correct any emerging performance problems.
  • To circulate documentation and information in an effective and timely manner.
  • To maintain, monitor and continuously improve the Service’s use of data bases and reduce reliance on manual record keeping systems.
  • To support teaching and demonstrating of the use of Qlikview and Rio to other groups within the service.
  • To undertake ad-hoc projects  and any task commensurate with the role.
  • To work within the Trust policies and procedures. To ensure the maintenance of up to date, accurate records that complies with local and national standards.
  • Oversee Bank roster and ordering supplies via PECOS.

  • To support the Bright Start Business Support Officers in the absence of the 0-19 manager.
  • To undertake ad-hoc projects as required and any task commensurate with the role.
  • To work within the Trust policies and procedures. To ensure the maintenance of up to date, accurate records that complies with local and national standards.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL

Skills, abilities and Knowlege.

Essential criteria
  • Excellent communication skills: IT written and oral.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience of managing projects which involve the development of effective working relationships within and outside Islington.
  • Ability to work flexibly to cope with competing time demands.
  • Ability to manage other members of staff and delegate work appropriately and safely.
Desirable criteria
  • Good Knowledge of Rio
  • Experience is using Data Reporting Systems
