Central London Community Heath NHS Trust is responsible for delivering Adult and Children’s Community services across West Hertfordshire

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

You will provide day-to-day clinical care, across a variety of sites, in a supported environment and within a dynamic team. 
Providing day-to-day professional leadership, you will ensure the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery while providing assurance that standards of clinical care and clinical pathways are within a designated area is of the highest standard attainable.

You will need to demonstrate empathy and compassionate leadership skills alongside excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to teach and inspire colleagues through active demonstration of clinical practice and leadership. At the same time be willing to learn and develop within this Band 6 role.

  • Evidence or Portfolio of Post Grad Continued Development

Education/Qualification

  • Registration with Health Professions Council.
  • Certificate in Local Anaesthesia.
  • Evidence or Portfolio of post-grad Continued Development.

Knowledge and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge in the management of the diabetic foot and high risk feet.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NICE Diabetes clinical guidelines and NSF in Diabetes.
  • Good inter-personal skills needed to liaise with colleagues and health care professionals.
  • Organisational and planning skills to manage your own work time.
  • Ability to deal professionally and objectively with distressing/uncomfortable situations, e.g. terminally ill patients, child abuse, providing guidance to team members where appropriate.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, report writing, presentation skills.
  • The ability to maintain up to date clinical knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge and application of clinical governance.
  • Knowledge of diversity issues and ability to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Experience of service delivery in acute and/or community settings.
  • Experience of working at a Band 5 level or having completed a preceptorship to attain a Band 6 level; and evidence of working with a high-risk caseload, specifically diabetes in an acute and community setting.
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working.
